JUNOs 2019: All the nominees

By Meaghan Wray

Canada’s
biggest music awards show, the JUNOs, is on the horizon and excitement is
building after nominations were announced on Tuesday (Jan. 29). Fans and music lovers
can rejoice over the stacked list of bands and solo artists represented, from breakthrough stars
Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara, to R&B star The Weeknd and smooth crooner Michael Bublé. The night’s big winners will be revealed on Mar. 17 in Vancouver!

One surprising snub from the morning’s announcement was Drake who, despite breaking records with his chart-topping album Scorpion in 2018, received zero nominations.

This year’s show will be hosted by 12-time JUNO Award winner Sarah McLachlan, and will be broadcast from London, Ont. on March 17. Bülow and Loud Luxury will perform, while Corey Hart will perform and be inducted into the 2019 Canadian Music Hall of Fame!
